We Build Sound, From Scratch.
For more than 40 years, Protonindo Citra Group has grown into a leading loudspeaker manufacturer in Indonesia with its own production facility — not just assembling, but manufacturing components in-house: voice coils, cone injection, injection frames, down to speaker boxes. We also produce power amplifiers and professional audio equipment.
Backed by experience, engineering expertise, competent human resources, and integrated professional management — we are committed to delivering loudspeakers with clear, authentic sound quality that meets customer standards and expectations. We continuously improve our quality so our products are increasingly accepted by the market.

The Beginning
PT. Protonindo Citra was founded in partnership with a Taiwanese company. At first, the factory only produced OEM car tape decks and car power amplifiers.
Export to Thailand
Started making tape decks and also cassette recorders.
Product Line Expansion
Protonindo began expanding the business by producing active speakers, car speakers, and home speakers.
Joining the National Electronics Supply Chain
Started supplying satellite TV speakers to PT. LG Indonesia in Cikarang.
Pioneer Distribution Partner
Continues supplying PT. Adab Alam, the sole distributor of Pioneer in Indonesia.
Car Audio Supplier
Supplied Car Audio to one of the Japanese automotive brands.

Facilities & Production Capacity
International work standards, carried out by a professional team, supported by the latest technology — including CNC machines for wooden speaker box production and Plastic Injection machines for high-precision needs at scale.
Voice Coil Assembly
The voice coil is the core component that determines a speaker’s character and sound clarity. At this facility, voice coils are wound under strict precision control at every stage, ensuring consistent quality from unit to unit. This facility is the foundation for every audio product line we produce, from home speakers to professional audio.
Production & Quality Assurance
Every product leaving our production line goes through a series of quality checks before it is ready for distribution. Our work standards follow ISO 9001:2015 and SNI certification, supported by a quality control team that ensures every unit meets standards before moving on to packaging. This commitment is what keeps our products consistently accepted in both domestic and international markets.
Workshop
Our workshop supports fabrication and technical customization needs outside the mass production line — from tooling and production equipment repair to technical experiments for new product development. Our in-house technician team allows trial & error to happen quickly without relying on outside parties.
Wood Working Workshop
Supported by CNC machines, our wood working facility handles speaker box production from cutting and shaping to final finishing. High precision matters here because the box’s shape and material also determine a speaker’s acoustic character — it is not just about looks, but also the resulting sound performance. That is why we use high-precision CNC machines.
R&D and Specification
Our research & development team works closely with the engineering partners our customers designate to design product specifications tailored to each project’s specific needs. From the initial concept and prototyping to pre-production testing — this process ensures the final product truly meets expectations, rather than being generic production.
Soft Part Facility
This facility handles the production of a speaker’s "soft" components such as cones and spiders through precision plastic injection. Materials are processed in-house to maintain consistent shape and material character in every production batch — components that are just as crucial in determining the final sound quality.
